Kukicha is a unique green tea made of the stems, twigs and stalks of the tea plant. After organic tea leaves are harvested, they are steamed and rolled in small batches into a Sencha green tea; then stems, twigs, and stalks are sorted out and roasted at a medium temperature. The resulting flavour is nutty, creamy and slightly sweet.
